Economic Impact Study

An economic impact study could be the next logical step after completion of the Census, as it provides the additional leverage of hard economic data for decision-makers (especially in the public sector).

Historically the accuracy of these studies has varied because there is so little government data directly attributed to music activity. Our inputs from the Census (more recent, richer and in depth than BLS and other government sources) greatly enhance the accuracy of the stated impact. Additionally, we include a partner who brings over three decades of experience in providing music-specific economic impact studies. This expertise in using regional input and output modeling, as set by the US Bureau of Economic Analysis, further aligns and builds trust and transparency in the findings.

The result is a faster, better and more efficient delivery of an economic impact study as part of this initiative.
